Along My Way
As I was out driving on the road to Womans Bay
I saw a little harbor seal by Sometimes Island along my way
His shiny wet coat was black as coal
As he broke the water with a lazy roll
When I first saw him through the swirling fog
I could have sworn he was a dead old log
But he was just dreaming a seals wish
Of a tasty crab and a nice fat fish
This morning glimpse made me smile today
As I sped off along my way.
